2018 Summer Tuesday Intermediate at VOA
Welcome to Tuesday Intermediate Summer League! This year we have added an option to play north of Cincinnati at the VOA fields in West Chester.
The league will run Tuesdays, May 29 - July 31. We will be off the week of the World Ultimate Club Championships (July 14-21) so everyone can volunteer for that (click on the Volunteer tab above).
To create a team, players must email the league director and indicate how many players they expect to be able to recruit for their team. Since this is a new league (on larger and better fields) we have tenatively planned for up to 8 teams but we'll have the league with as few as four teams.
The cost is per registered player. Each player is responsible for paying their own signup fee; this per player cost includes a disc, a shirt and all weeks of play and the end of season tournament. Only cost not included is the VOA parking pass cost.
We may limit league participation to an even number of teams so that there are no byes during the season. Players may register and select their teams when they join. Team size is determined by the captain (though small teams may be asked to take on free agent players). Teams may have no more than 6 experienced club/college players*. There will be a strict enforcement of the 5/2 gender ratio. There will be absolutely no subs allowed for the tournament.
Free agent players who want to play on Tuesday should contact the league director about joining a team. We can't guarantee anyone a spot who is not affiliated with a team. At the discretion of the League Director, smaller teams may have free agent players assigned to them. We encourage you to sign up on Wednesdays if you can't find a team to play with.
Players must be at least 14 years old or 13 years old if playing with a parent. Team captains must be at least 21 years old.

Teams can have no more than 6 club/college players* and must be sure they have enough women to play a 5/2 gender ratio**.
*A club/college player is defined as anyone who has played on a USAU-rostered club or college within the last 5 years (even if they only played one year of such), anyone who has played professionaly, or any HS player who has completed two full summers of YCC (or the equivalent). (Summer League teams do not count as club teams) A club player age 45 or older counts as half a club player, but team totals cannot equal 6.5 club players.
**Teams with only one woman must play down a person (5/1). If your team doesn't have any women, that's a forfeit, but we encourage you to play a scrimmage game for fun.
Subs will be for teams that have fewer than 10 guy players/3 women players. If you have this many players, NO SUBS!!! If you think you'll be low, you can recruit, but everyone will go into the same sub pool, doled out by the league director. The director will only send out subs when requested by a captain - you'll have to let the director know you need a sub by 6:25pm. Subs will sign in, and they'll get sent out in that order. So the subs you recruit may or may not play for you. Women subs: if you have 3 women, then no subs unless you know for sure they can't play a full game. Then you get 1 sub, if we have them.
