COVID19:

CUPA will continue to abide by state and federal recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID19. As of early June, no reservations are being taken for Clear Creek sports fields and we have no plans to play Ultimate until at least July. To prepare for the possibility of playing, we plan to open summer league registration and signup for players, but disable payments until we can confirm that summer leagues can proceed. Expect increased communication regarding summer league status starting in June. To reiterate, we will not collect payment for the league until we are confident the league can proceed.

Details:

Thursday League at Clear Creek offers competitive, spirited games to many of the area's more experienced players (but all are welcome and encouraged to play). The price will likely be $50 (collected later) because we will not be printing shirts this year. Teams are drafted, and male players are capped based on the total number who register. Remaining male players are drafted voluntarily.

If you are concerned about not being drafted, you should upload a photo to your CUPA profile. You may also email the director to tell us about yourself, and make your own arrangements to play in one of the other leagues as a back-up option.

Format: 4-3 mixed (as allowable). Start time is 6:45pm. A series of "best of three" games are played to 7, period. Hard cap is at 8:20 (leading team wins; play universe point if tied when point ends). One timeout per game, max two per night. 11th Edition Rules are in effect.

Subs: Any undrafted male players will be offered the opportunity to join the sub list as needed. Women subs are not always necessary and will be added on a week-to-week basis. Please email the league director if you would like to be added to the sub email list for notification of open spots.

Weather: Games will be cancelled under severe weather threats such as lightning by the league director, or for field condition concerns by Anderson Township Parks. Gametime decisions will be made at 5:00PM every week and announced via email, Facebook and Twitter. If it is just raining and you have received no cancellation notice, please come out to play.
