Learn to Play Ultimate Frisbee this Fall!
We are combining a few elements together to bring ultimate to more new players.
We're putting on Adults & Youth (ages 8-13) clinics simultaneously this October at Gardner Park, which is also taking place at the same time as a weekly pick-up group.
These teaching sessions will be played at Gardner Park in Lockland and will run on 4 Saturdays in October from 10am-12pm. We run these sessions separately, one group for women-matching players, one for men-matching players, and one for youth ages 8-13.
This program is designed for all beginner men and women-matching players, inclusive of all gender identities. It's a great teaching league to get out and play, learn and improve on your ultimate skills, and meet other players in the community. Our focus will be on getting everyone lots of playing time and sharing skills and techniques to elevate each other’s play. Intermediate players are welcome as well, if they'd like to hone in on more basic skills or hear more thorough instructions.
Each session will involve some skill instruction followed by playing a game of ultimate.
Some of the skills we will teach:
- Adults: Offensive & Defensive strategies commonly found in ultimate
- Youth & Adults: Instruction & Correction on proper throwing forms
- Youth & Adults: Rules & Nuances of the game of Ultimate
All players receive a new disc!

Learn more about the weekly pick-up games here. Our hope is that once all new players learn a bit about ultimate through our program, they can continue on with this pick-up group and other CU leagues.
