Please see below for information about hotel booking for your time in Lebanon for Regionals. 

We are working with a 3rd Party called Stay, Play, Made Simple to help with your hotel bookings. As a regular team organizer, I see several benefits to using this service, so I wanted to share some information about how it works. 

They have reserved room blocks for our event at four hotels located approximately 6–10 miles from the fields, as there aren't many hotel options closer to the fields. Rates are currently in the $134–$165 per night range.

Reasons why you should consider Stay, Play, Made Simple for your hotel bookings:  
1.  They have negotiated discounted rates comparable to what you may find when researching larger room blocks. Breakfast is also included at participating hotels unless otherwise noted.

• For example, Marriott Northeast is a full-service hotel that does not typically include breakfast, but breakfast is included in the rate provided for our group block.

2. The cancellation policy can be more flexible than many standard hotel rates. If you book through the hotel blocks and need to cancel or make changes, you will only be charged the $9.95 non-refundable reservation fee, as long as you cancel within the hotel's cancellation policy. Each hotel has a different cancellation policy, so please be sure to review the policy when making your reservation (these 4 options are all 2 or 3 days prior. 

They have worked with the participating hotels regarding WEATHER-related cancellations, which is different than above. Should the event have to be officially canceled/postponed due to weather, you will be able to cancel your hotel reservation as long as the event cancellation has been determined by noon on Friday. Standard hotel cancellation policies apply to cancellations for reasons other than an official weather-related event cancellation.

• You can also hold rooms now (as you will see in the first drop-down option) if you are not yet sure whether your team will qualify for Regionals. You will receive an email when you hold the room(s). It is important to finalize your reservation with a credit card by the date listed in that email by clicking the link provided on the email you receive.  
• Once you complete the reservation with a credit card, the $9.95 non-refundable fee will be charged. No other charges will be made to your credit card until you arrive at the hotel.
• There is a deadline for booking at the tournament rate, similar to a wedding room block. The latest date to reserve rooms at the tournament rate is September 17.
• Even if you are not sure that your team will qualify for Regionals, you can reserve rooms now and only pay the $9.95 non-refundable fee at the time of booking. Waiting until after Sectionals, when you may only be a couple of weeks away from the event, could mean fewer hotel options and potentially higher room rates.

3. You can still earn hotel reward points when booking through Stay, Play, Made Simple. Just be sure to include your rewards number when making your reservation.

4. If your team is doing fundraising to help cover hotel costs, Stay, Play, Made Simple can help coordinate the payment process between your team and the hotel. Please contact them to discuss how they can assist with your team's payment arrangements.
